Changing Room
This past Saturday, Changing Room Barcelona was held in the Hotel Chic & Basic in Borne. Each one of its rooms showcased a different designer. Great idea in theory. Seems fun and interesting. Well, the rooms were very tiny, which meant that when 5 or 6 people were inside, it was packed. Narrow hallways made for very difficult manoeuvring.

Dress Up!
This past Saturday 7th was the first edition of Dress Up. A showroom style event to showcase new designers. Six new creators gathered together in a great location in Borne. Composed of Amimanera, Elena Gallego, Georgina Vendrell, My Grandmother’s Sofa, Nerea Lurgain and Sugar Rush.

It’s like if Elsa Schiaparelli and Salvador Dali had a child while on some sort of psychedelic substance. Feathers and fur, frills, tulle, fabulous prints, eye and animal motifs, a sumptuous color palette, all dusty roses, dirty greens, mellow yellows, off-whites, rich chocolate browns… enough to make the mouth water.
