Four conferences, a new section, one packed auditorium and a killer post-party made for the best edition of Broad.cat to date. Entertaining, funny, insightful and professional, the afternoon was great and upheld the “Think Big” theme of this year’s edition.

The date is fast approaching! On Friday 26th of November, the Caixa Forum auditorium in Barcelona will once again open its’ doors to receive a host of brilliant speakers and a public eager to learn more about all things audiovisual. Broad.cat, the platform for audiovisual and design in Spain, will be presenting an afternoon filled with 4 conferences and a new concept, Tête à tête.

What to expect when mixing a cool venue, a bunch of audiovisual fanatics, quite a lot of beer and two talks from two different studios? Just the best edition of Broad.cat Dual so far. Still practically in diapers, the Dual event just goes from strength to strength and gathering from the reactions, both during and post, the public got exactly what they wanted: an entertaining and inspiring evening.

What to expect from a fashion collection based on a car? Yesterday it was possible to find out at the Roca Barcelona Gallery, renown for its’ audiovisual marvels. Given that I’m not all that much into cars, I was really intrigued to see the end result. Josep Abril was the designer in charge of translating the clean, stylized lines of Nissan’s Cube Car into a more wearable idea. Nissan’s industrial engineer was also on hand to explain part of the technological processes.
