I don’t often feature work done by others, mainly because I don’t like to use photos that aren’t my own. But I just can’t resist sharing the work that photographer Carl Kleiner does. His images are filled with magic and he always surrounds himself with the best creative teams which, of course, means that the results are always spectacular.

El Changuito
To tie in with the Què Fem recommendations from last week, I went back to visit El Changuito and take some photos of my own. Located down a small alleyway near Las Ramblas, the street is also home to Duduá.
Perfect Window Dressing
A whirlwind trip to London must always include a visit to Selfridges on Oxford Street. Now the interesting part is actually outside the store, so it’s not necessary to battle the inevitable crowds within. Selfridges’ windows are a magical site to behold. I can’t even begin to imagine living in London and seeing all the different displays throughout the entire year.
Sneak Peak at Louboutin’s Winter 2010 Campaign
What could be more perfect than a sneak peak at Christian Louboutin’s winter 2010 shoe campaign? These photographs are crystal-clear sharp, brimming with fairytale possibilities and movie references. A luscious selection of heels and boots, the master of the red sole and quirky web pages has waved his magic wand once again.
Winding Down Buenos Aires
El Último Beso in Palermo is my ideal of heaven, (if such a place existed). This is a teashop that opens up like a pop-up book, every corner revealing a new secret. There is a main tea room which leads to room after room of little alcoves, dining rooms, comfy corners and one of the best terraces I have ever seen. This is a mixture of quaint London, Alice in Wonderland and Narnia. Stone tables and statues jostle for space with white, wrought-iron furniture and a myriad of flowers. The desserts are scrumptious and a visit to the toilets is a definite must. Small mirrors cover one wall and about a third of the bathroom is occupied by a claw-foot bathtub, filled with water and floating roses. Absolute bliss.
