Le Cucine Mandarosso started a few years ago as a quiet venture, an Italian restaurant tucked away on a side street near the ubiquitous Palau de la Música. Their perfect oven-baked pasta was soon a runaway success, as well as their scrumptious desserts. Run by some of the friendliest people in Barcelona, no matter how busy things get, the boys and girls at Le Cucine always have a smile and a great recommendation to make.

Victoria’s Cakes
It’s not often that I feel the urge to make the pilgrimage to neighbourhoods above Avenida Diagonal. Call me lazy, call me close-minded but I usually find everything I need in Sant Antoni, Borne, Eixample, Raval and el Gótico. So I prepared my excursion kit and headed up to a new place that has been open for around two months: Victoria’s Cakes.
Tickets – La Vida Tapa
After three and a half months of waiting, it was finally time to enjoy the restaurant Tickets. Although this new proposal of the Adrià brothers has been open only a short time, a waiting list appeared almost immediately, filled with people anxious to sample the delights that, until recently, have been almost off-limits for the general public.
Kiosko Burger
Searching for the hugest burgers in Barcelona? Well, El Kiosko Hamburguesería is your place. Located near Plaza Palau, right on the border between Barceloneta and Borne, this small restaurant has been packing quite a punch since the beginning of 2011.
Meatpacking Bistrot
New York-style is slowly creeping into Barcelona consciousness and the newest kid on the block is the Meatpacking Bistrot and Café. With gorgeous settings and a killer menu, they are packing quite the culinary punch.
