If there is one book that you should read while studying fashion or if you are just curious about fashion, then this is the book. The Fashion Conspiracy written by Nicholas Coleridge is “the dazzling inside story of the glamorous world of international high fashion”. Interviewing more than 400 people in 14 different countries, Coleridge shines the light on many of fashion’s secrets. I really don’t understand how the fashion pack let this man get this book published as the truth becomes very apparent: the gritty reality of all we hold dear in our glittering fashion domain.

Festivalet at Miscelanea
As the slow-food movement slowly starts to trickle into Barcelona’s consciousness, so too the trend for slow-fashion. Weekend 17-19 December
Starting today Friday 17th of December, a mere 9 days away from Christmas, and continuing all weekend are a myriad of fashion festivals and events. It also seems impossible to be able to spend so much money on all the glorious items that will be on sale by independent designers. Sigh!

From the 1920s and continuing until 1974, Spain truly lived through a golden era of fashion. The unfortunate “Luxury Tax” would snuff out practically all of the designers in one severe blow.
