Way back in late spring, photographer Inés of Happinés and I decided to put together another wedding shoot. The idea was to find the perfect beach location and focus on a Bohemian feel for this new editorial. After many months, our efforts have seen the light of day! In the most recent issue of the Spanish wedding magazine Lucia se Casa, we have an almost two-page spread.
After seeing photos of the beach at Garraf, I just knew it would be the perfect location for our shoot. Our models were Noemí Garí and Jordi Ubanell, who managed to create a special spark of romance on the day, even though they had just met a few hours earlier. Make-up and hair were by Giann Franco Auditore for Iki Studio, who brought along his tiny Chihuahua.
The absolutely gorgeous flowers were put together by Urban Plant. This mother and daughter team are full of energy and really helped out on the day. Cookies and muffins were created and provided by Claire Gledhill, the wonder-woman behind Moonraker Morsels. During the entire duration, Iñigo of Visión Alternativa followed us around filming every second of the action.
Considering all the different factors involved, the only thing that went wrong on the day were the ants that attacked Claire’s delicious food. There was not a cloud in sight and not many people on the beach. Jordi and Noemí were able to relax and concentrate on helping Inés of Happinés to capture the best photos.
I would like to say a big thank-you to everyone that was involved in making this day perfect. Thanks also to Zara Home, Zara Man and Ivo&co for lending clothes and attrezzo. All of the photos are courtesy of Happinés. Please don’t hesitate if you would like to contact with Inés of Happinés, myself or any of the members of the team either for wedding help or editorials.
