I would like to update all of you on my new links on the Sticky Fingers blog-roll. These are all places that I check on a daily basis or at least as often as they post something new. Some are inspiring or fun others are thoughtful, it’s always good to see what other people are doing!

Audiovisual and Design

There is a new addition to this section by the hands of Adrián Rodríguez and his Graceful Minds blog. Aiming to spread creativity and audiovisual knowledge, he posts some seriously interesting videos several times a week.

Curious

This section is new, as there are always blogs that are impossible to pigeon-hole. Stuff No One Told Me is a blog by a hilarious comic illustrator. Simple and to-the-point truths that always make me laugh. BeatUp Creations is simply excellent.

Fashion

I’ve included quite a few blogs to investigate in the fashion section: DoubleCloth is a blog by a Spanish girl and very good. Very honest and open with her fashion opinions. Elsa for Elle is in Swedish, but the photos are lovely and Elsa always looks like she’s having such a good time. If I have to take a sneak-peak into people’s lives, at least this option is interesting. Fashematics is pure fun: fashion mathematics. Never been good at maths, let them do the work for you! Fashion Gone Rogue doesn’t have the nicest layout, but it’s a great way to keep up with the endless fashion editorials and pictures. Last of all, Searching for Style which is written by a Canadian woman. Alexandra is brilliant, I especially love her Loathe sections. She critiques elegantly.

Favourites

Four new contenders that have me completely hooked: Kobi Levi Footwear – I want all of his shoes now! Olivia Soaps – I just found out about this company during the recent third edition of Festivalet. I am totally in love with their soaps, they are the best in the world. The 99 Percent is a great page for freelancers and others looking for work-related inspiration. It is heavily geared to people working in creative jobs, but their information can be extrapolated to many other situations in life. Quite the goldmine. The Man Repeller is one of my most recent finds and I have to say, I’m hooked, enchanted, wanting more, doesn’t blog nearly enough to satisfy my need. Pointing out all those fashion trends that really are useless and ugly, those items that make men lift their eyebrows and looking confused. Completely refreshing and necessary!

Food

Just one newcomer: They Draw and They Cook – a blog that has illustrated recipes. Spectacular!

So please enjoy! I’d love to hear about your recommendations!
