Madrid in Summer

Although I live here in Barcelona and enjoy life in La Ciudad Condal, I have to admit, even though I know some are going to gnash their teeth, that my heart belongs to Madrid. A short visit this long weekend past, basically to avoid the San Joan firecrackers, revived all utter love affair with Spain’s capital.

I Love Muffins at Festivalet

This past weekend, Festivalet was held at Dudua’s new location. There was a festive feeling in the air, with coloured streamers brightening up the small street. A bit on the small side, at least it was a great opportunity to see the new pieces by handcraft designers.

Laboratorio de Fabricación

Quite a crowd gathered yesterday evening for the inauguration of the new DHUB exhibition, Fabrication Laboratory. Although I am not very technologically-inclined, this show is a sight to behold. The really great thing about attending inaugural events is the possibility to take photographs.

More successful than the first session, with a capacity for around 80 people, more than a hundred were left out in the cold, unable to sit in on the second edition of Broad.cat Dual. A meeting place to exchange ideas about audiovisual design.
