Write down the date! This Friday 12th of March, from 18:00 to 22:00, Duro de Roer, Barcelona’s t-shirt shop par excellence will be hosting a fun-filled presentation evening for Saako Design and La Virgen de los Broches. There will time to peruse their extensive t-shirt collection, view Saako’s gorgeous, cloth necklaces, get a sneak peak at Nuria’s new offering and drink a sip of champagne. What a great way to start off the weekend!
Duro de Roer has been a complete success since they opened their doors. A few of their shirt offerings are by Moshko and ponetelaremera! A small space located on Calle Cendra, they always manage to gather an eclectic mix of people for their events.
I recently wrote about Saako Design and their fabulous, urban, cloth necklaces. This will be a great opportunity to meet the two girls behind the name and get a closer look at exactly what they’re doing.
The other star of the evening will be Nuria Lopéz of La Virgen de los Broches. Considering the success that her Tetris tshirts have generated, her new men’s collection is based on the Rubik cube. Nuria is the sweetest girl in town and a pleasure to chat to. This coming month, I’ve interviewed Nuria for my Made in Barna column in BCN Week. Keep an eye out for the newspaper, the new edition just hit the street yesterday.
This is going to be a great evening that I’m really looking forward to. I hope to see you all there, champagne glass in hand!
