La Virgen de los Broches in BCN Week

bcnweek_made_in_barna_marzo_2010

This past week, the new edition of BCN Week hit the streets and that means a new Made in Barna column of mine. This month’s spotlight is on the lovely Nuria of La Virgen de los Broches. Together with the equally lovely Inés of Happinés, we carefully shot a photo session worthy of Nuria’s designs.

Happinés

Check out the photos and what Nuria had to say about her life, her inspirations and why she would like to be reincarnated in an Eros Ramazzotti song. This has been one of my favourite interviews since I started with my column. Nuria’s honesty and fresh spirit are always a great laugh.

Happinés

Presenting her new collection, her pieces are infused with nautical details. From striped flower brooches to marine-themed bags, Nuria places tender loving care into each of her designs. I just wish that we were all more capable of employing such care, happiness and enjoyment in our daily lives as the world would be a much better place. It is such an honour to count Nuria among my dearest friends.
