I find life to be so much relaxed here in Buenos Aires, although that might have something to do with being on holidays! I wish Barcelona had more green areas. The Argentine capital is filled with parks, including the Japanese Gardens. Donated to the city by the Japanese government, this is an oasis of calm, filled with ornamentation, enormous carps and a restaurant to boot.
The weather is fabulous and everything is surprisingly verdant. Considering the heat and sun during summer, there is a freshness to the myriad shades and tones of green.
I can still hardly believe that the buses in the city are run by different companies. It is pretty confusing, but does make for a visual treat, as each company has their own style of “colectivo”, with varied colours and markings.
All I can do is sigh… The food is delicious, the shops are cute, the weather… Absolute bliss.
