This past Saturday, Changing Room Barcelona was held in the Hotel Chic & Basic in Borne. Each one of its rooms showcased a different designer. Great idea in theory. Seems fun and interesting. Well, the rooms were very tiny, which meant that when 5 or 6 people were inside, it was packed. Narrow hallways made for very difficult manoeuvring.

Fashion events this weekend in Barcelona
Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th see a myriad of different activities to check out. These five events are fashion-inclined and well-worth a visit. Considering that Christmas is just around the corner, this is a great moment to pick up some very unique presents.
Le Cucine Mandarosso
Le Cucine Mandarosso is one of the best Italian restaurants in Barcelona, without a doubt. Run entirely by Italians, this is an intimate place located near the Palau de la Música. Specialty ingredients are brought over from Italy and the rest is sourced from local markets, making for an excellent eating experience.
Full Moon in Barcelona
This past Wednesday, December 2nd, was full moon in Barcelona. This can mean several things, but in this case, fantastic street festivities along Calle Luna. In other words, full moon party on Moon Street. The short street is located in Raval, quite near to the Mercado Sant Antonio. The stores stay open longer than usual, there is music in the air, drinks flow freely and different types of art-in-progress are all available to enjoy.
Helvetica Inauguration at Disseny Hub Barcelona
Yesterday, Tuesday 1st, was the inauguration of the typeface Helvetica exhibition at the Disseny Hub Barcelona. Located on the ground floor of the DHUB, this exhibit is a celebration of the classic font and the evolution it has gone through since its birth. Open until the 7th of February, 2010, some may think it is strange to dedicate an entire space to a specific typography, but this is a well-rounded effort.
