XV Salon de Manga

This past weekend, the 15th edition of the Manga Comic Festival was held at La Farga, Hospitalet, on the outskirts of Barcelona. I hadn’t been for over 5 or 6 years and remembered that it was quite a big event. I decided to pay a visit to assuage my curiosity. What a shock!

Como Pedro por mi Casa

Starting Monday 2nd and continuing to the 7th of November, the annual illustrated book festival, Como Pedro Por Mi Casa, is being held at La Central in the Raval neighbourhood. The event is organized by Julia Pelletier and is celebrating it’s 4th edition.

La Virgen de los Broches

I caught up with the lovely Nuria the other day and was able to ask her a few questions about the gorgeous and kitsch collection that she produces under the name of La Virgen de los Broches which translates to The Virgen of Brooches. I had a excellent time with her; she has a contagious laugh and bags of inspiration.
